Beyond the Bundle: Reduce the Risk of Central Line-Associated Bloodstream Infections

These educational video modules provide an overview of current information about central line-associated bloodstream infections (CLABSIs) and associated evidence-based best practices and risk reduction strategies. The modules have been developed for hospitals. The modules are adapted from a Webinar recorded December 10, 2009. (Go to modules.)

After viewing these modules, participants should be able to do the following:

  • Identify strategies to achieve and maintain CLABSI reduction.
  • Recall opportunities to standardize and simplify compliance with prevention methods.
  • Identify challenges to implementation of evidence-based practices.
  • Recall methods of establishing a culture of safety.
